Mountain Equipment tents are famous for their strength and durability. They are made of nylon fabric doubly coated with silicone for that extra strength and longevity.
Some of the most famous tents from Mountain Equipment are Hielo 2, Dragonfly 2 and AR UltraLite2. All of these tents are extremely lightweight and user friendly.
The Hielo 2 sleeps two persons and is great in extreme weather conditions as its shell provides ample protection from the weather. Dragonfly 2 is again an excellent tent, which is very easy to pitch. It is a free standing tent and is quite effective against cold winds.
AR UltraLite2 is a sturdy tent, which has two porches for providing ample space inside the tent. Its internal surface is DWR coated that helps prevent the tent from sweating. The flysheet of this tent is quite strong too. It is designed to withstand harsh weather and manages to provide warmth even in very cold conditions. Another unique feature of this tent is that its attachment rings and zip pullers glow in the dark, offering added convenience to the customers.
The seams are excellently designed for all Mountain Equipment tents to prevent any possibility of leakage in rainy conditions. Moreover, these tents are also provided with sealants that can be used to make the interior absolutely waterproof. The groundsheets of these tents are excellent in terms of durability and their longevity can be further improved by adding a layer under the sheet.

South Africa features moderate weather during the entire year, with the bonus of being nicely placed at the right latitude - making it a wonderful holiday away from the cold North American and European winters.
In this brief piece, we’re going to discuss the not so famous regions of the South African peninsula, so you can avoid the hords of tourists while also enjoying the cheaper prices that you can discover in the lesser known places.
Kruger Park
A lot of people know about this park from perhaps the most legendary amateur footage of wildlife. Kruger National Park is the largest wildlife reserve in South Africa and stretches 60 km from east to west and 350 km from north to south. Kruger Park has 8 main gates that provide entryway to the many camps there. There is an abundance of accommodation near Kruger Park so it doesn’t need to be an arduous return journey from Cape Town or whatever holiday resort you’re based in.
Check out the Drakensberg Mountains
The Drakensberg is the highest range of mountains the South African Peninsula, extending to 3,482 metres (11,420 ft) in height. Old caves are predominant in the easily weathered sandstone, and many have rock paintings etched by the Bushmen. The Drakensberg Mountains have roughly 40000 works of cave art and is the biggest collection of such work on earth. There is proof that the bushmen existed in the Drakensberg at least 40,000 years ago, and possibly over 100,000 years ago. The Drakensberg Mountain Range is simple to get to from adjacent Durban and you can normally book guesthouses in Durban without any trouble.
KwaZulu
KwaZulu Natahas has become increasingly popular with holidaymakers - chiefly sold as the Zulu Kingdom. It is unfortunate that many from abroad miss this experience, as many who DO come here know that it gives tourists a myriad of experiences. For many years it has taken the moniker as the Garden Province - the name being well deserved. There should be little worry locating guesthouses in and around KwaZulu.

This post is from our recent trip to Waikiki. Ive got to tell you, if you ever have the fortune to make it to Honolulu, you should absolutely take the opportunity. It has to be one of the most beautiful places in the United States. It is so amazing to have such a extraordinary location in our nation.
The hospitality there is grand. We took a widsurfing lesson, rode a canoe, caught a few hula shows and even had a chance to try out some authentic Hawaiian food at a luau. They say ono out there, it means delicious. The Kalua Pig is to die for and be sure to stop by for a lava flow cocktail at Dukes. Its a little spot on Waikiki beach, great for an evening drink. One of the most memorable aspects was when we treated ourselves to a massage. It was awesome, super relaxing and well deserved after a hard years work.
Hawaii is extraordinary. Don’t stress that you won’t do it all, because you can’t. Figure out what is most important to you and concentrate on that. Take time to unwind and savor just being there. Needless to say, we will be going back as soon as possible.
