Flowerhorn Cichlids
Flowerhorn cichlids is a hybrid cichlid that was developed in Malaysia during the second half of the 1990: s. It was created by crossbreeding different South American cichlids. Exactly which cichlids that were used to create the Flowerhorn is a well kept secret only known by the breeders who developed the species but they did most likely crossbreed Trimacs (Amhilophous Trimaculatus) and one or several other South American cichlids like Cichlasoma Festae, Amphilophus citrinellum (midas cichlid), Amphilophus labiatum (red devil) or Vieja synspila (redheaded cichlid). Flowerhorn cichlids are unlike many other hybrids fertile and can easily be breed in aquariums. They are very easy to keep and can be kept in the same way as other cichlids from the same area. The only requirement is a large aquarium to house these big aggressive fishes in.
Luck and Feng Shui
Flowerhorn cichlids are in Asia considered to bring good luck and good Feng Shui. They are not the only fishes that are thought of in this way. The Asian Arowana is another fish that brings good fortune to its owner and that is being breed and sold at high prices in Asia. The pattern of thought behind the thought that Arowanas are bringers of good fortune can be found in the fact that they are considered to resample dragons. Dragons are powerful creatures in the Asian mythology. The foundation for the belief that Flowerhorn cichlids are bringer of good fortune can be traced to the fact that the hump that the species develop as it matures are considered to resembles the Chinese God of Longevity. If the hump grows so does the good fortune of the owner. This good fortune can affect all areas of life.
The Black marking on Flowerhorn cichlids also plays an important role in this species reputation as bringer of good fortune. These markings can sometimes create patterns that resample Chinese signs and fish that displays these patterns are considered to be the most fortune bringing of all. Examples of this are that some Flowerhorn cichlids display Chinese numbers on their sides and the owner of these fishes often play the number their Flowerhorn displays on the lottery. The reason behind this is an incident where a woman won 1 million dollars and claimed that she had the play the number her fish displayed. Another fish that is worth mentioning is a Flowerhorn cichlid that displays the Chinese sign for luck on its side and that fish is hardly surprising considered as extra lucky.
Flowerhorn cichlids has ironically enough brought bad luck for many investors that invested in Flowerhorn cichlid when the hype was at its peak and who lost a lot of money when the market plummeted to more reasonable levels.

Short breaks away always seem like such a marvellous plan - to leave behind habits & habitats, watching something brand new; possibly listen to something unique. Although, without an idea, weekends away can time after time fall somewhat flat, a case of strolling around a large city, periodically darting into retail outlets & recognising statues. This could be sufficient if you are happy to go with the flow, on the other hand if you enjoy being busy and ‘doing’ something then London theatre breaks can be a splendid option.
Even if you could always fly to Europe, why would you wish to? As there is loads of talent and enjoyment much closer to you in the City. Notably, London hosts a large collection of superb theatres, most of which can be found grouped in London’s West End - a place in which everyday life looks to become a little rosy & everything turns out very good eventually; or at least if not, you can get trapped in emotive moments & feel a little bit of a better individual.
Although for plush, merry entertainment during a London show break as a rule the majority of individuals attend musicals. These can be anything from the heart-wrenching heartbreak such as Les Misérables to the rollerblading spectacle that is undeniably Starlight Express. But fans of rock & roll, doo-wap & boys & girls in tight leather will only be interested in one choice - Grease. Taking the UK by storm in the nineteen-seventies, this popular musical show has for no reason failed to amaze, transferring with consummate style to the big screen. Featuring a lovely John Travolta and a tremendously skinny Olivia Newton-John, the motion picture went on to be listed for an Oscar.
A great number of people will have a small room in their heart saved for Grease, no matter how old they are, or even what sex. Its one of those family films that is enjoyed by many generations; by the same token the London musical show is entertaining for both young and old alike. The ease and energy of Rydell High is infectious, the late 1950s clothes are desirably retro, & the music are so contagious that you will be singing in your seats. Enjoy London’s top musicals with cheap theatre tickets.

Boxers are not particularly greedy dogs, but their appetites need to be controlled to prevent them becoming overweight.
History:
The Boxer originated from the Tibetan Mollossus and European mastiff family. They were originally used in Germany for bear and bull baiting. In the 19th century, the breed reached a certain amount of conformity following selective crosses between Great Danes and English Bulldogs. The origins of the name “Boxer” is unclear. Some believe it is a corruption of the German word “Beiszer” meaning biter of bulls, while others state it comes from the word “boxl”, an alternate name for the now extinct Brabanter dog.

Additional Comments:
The Boxer is one of the best guarding breeds and they consider their family as theirs to guard.
Boxers can be too boisterous for some owners and are more appropriate for an energetic handler or family.
Inherited conditions of Boxers include eye problems, extra incisor teeth and heart problems. The owner should always buy from a reputable breeder to reduce the likeliness of these problems.

Love them - and many people do - or hate them - and many people do - ugg boots are here to stay. First worn by Australian sheep herders to keep their feet warm, then by war pilots at high altitudes and finally usurped by surfers after a chilly dip in the ocean, these flat soled fur-lined boots have made it into the cutting edge fashion world. Lots of women can’t do without them and lots of men think they are a step way beyond ugly. No one denies though that they are warm, soft, comfortable and beloved by celebrities and star athletes. If you’re neither a movie icon nor a sports idol just exactly how and where do you wear these ugg boots?
There are those who insist the ugg in ugg boots derives from ugly. Websites have even sprung up vilifying uggs and calling for the immediate cessation of wearing uggs. Although the roots of the term can’t be precisely pinned down it has been copyrighted and now serves as the signature brand of ugg boots. However, many variations of ugg boots are on the market and they are undoubtedly one of the most popular type of boots sold. Most are labeled as simply sheepskin boots. All have the same distinguishing characteristics: Flat soles or low heels and laces, rounded toes with real sheepskin linings. Ugg boots come in a variety of heights and colors.
Why are they so popular? Well, part of it may come from the typical desire to wear what many others question that is common amongst some fashionistas. Still, they are undeniably warm and do an admirable job of keeping the feet of their wearer dry. Another remarkable feature is that due to the breathability of sheepskin, ugg boots are also comfortable in relatively warm weather. Some diehard devotees of ugg boots lumber around in them until temperatures are in the eighties.
What is the proper apparel to wear with a pair of uggs?
Once you’ve decided to be seen out in ugg boots almost any fashion statement short of formal wear is acceptable and they can be worn by either sex. Girls and women will wear them with ski clothes and jeans but also with shorts and mini-skirts. Guys also wear them on the slopes and as footwear with their Levi’s. One of the few ugg boot taboos is water; they don’t do well in the wet. Deep snow and hiking are also not up an uggs’ alley.
What to do with a dirty ugg - do you kill it?
Uggs and any of their sheepskin counterparts should be hand washed with cold water. Hot water can cause them to shrink or crack. Don’t wash them in the washing machine or throw them in the dryer. In fact, don’t put them near any direct lighting source or in sunlight. One wonders how the original owner - the sheep - dried them. For those really fond of their ugg boots, stuff them with towels or paper when drying to help them maintain their shape. Special grooming products are also available for true uggs aficionados.
Christopher M. Luck has an extensive background in dealing exclusively with ugg boots and is now offering his ugg boot secrets to the public. If you are at all interested in Christopher’s advice, tips, or secrets, you can visit his ugg boot blog

So often in franchising folks think that the franchisor and the franchisees are intermingled financially and this simply is not so. Franchisors and franchisees have more of an independent contract type relationship than anything else. Why is this separation so important? Well for liability issues for one reason.
You see if the franchisee has an employment lawsuit, fails to make a profit, pay their bills on time to vendors or other legal issue of this type the franchisor must maintain a separation. In fact one of the definitions between independent contractors and franchising is that the franchisee maintains business risk. In our franchise company we wanted to be sure to distance ourselves from the potential legal liability that our franchisees might create and therefore I put this clause into all of our franchise agreements;
7.12 Relationship of the Parties
Franchisee is and will remain an independent contractor. Franchisee and Franchisor are not and will never be considered joint venturers, partners, employees, or agents one for the other. Neither will have the power to bind nor obligate the other except as otherwise outlined in this Agreement. No representation will be made by either party to anyone that would create any apparent agency, employment, or partnership. Each will hold the other safe and harmless from each other’s debts, acts, omissions, liabilities, and representations. Franchisee acknowledges that Franchisee is not in a fiduciary relationship with Franchisor.
In all public and private records, documents, relationships, and dealings, Franchisee will show that Franchisee is an independent owner of the Franchised Business. Franchisee will prominently indicate on its letterheads and business forms that Franchisee is a licensed Franchisee by using language saying that Franchisee operates an independently owned Franchise.
Franchisee will maintain employee records to show clearly that Franchisee and its employees are not employees of the Franchisor.
The liability of Franchisee’s shareholders, members or partners will be both joint and several. A breach of this Agreement by Franchisee or by any shareholder, member or partner will be a breach by all of the shareholders, members or partners and also by Franchisee.
———— ————
A franchisor must not only perfectly execute his strategy to extend brand name and market share thru its outlets, but it must also be careful to distance its self from unnecessary liability in a litigious industry. You of course will have to ask your own professional parasite [attorney] how your company will most likely deal with this. This is how we dealt with the problem. Consider all this in 2006.

We’re going to discuss some specific aspects of Men’s business dressing, which has different rules than women’s. Ladies, if you have a husband, son, brother, good friend or other relative that could use this information, please feel free to pass it along. Enjoy this segment, and come back for the others!
Whether you are a new college graduate, just joining the working world, changing jobs due to a merger, acquisition or “dot-bomb” or just feel the need to update your professional look, putting together a business wardrobe can be a scary prospect.
In the next installments of this article, we’ll discuss the components of a great classic wardrobe that will have you well dressed for years, and will prove to be wise investments.
Let’s start with the potentially most expensive, yet most important part of your business wardrobe - your suits. Rather than buy the latest cutting-edge, designer look of the moment that will be dated and obsolete next year, select 3 - 4 classically tailored suits in year-round fabrics and conservative colors.
If you’ve seen my articles about Color and it’s effect on you, you’ll know that men also fall into the color “Seasons”, and there are suggestions for colors in those articles. I’ll also include some hints and tips in this article regarding colors for men’s suits.
A popular choice of fabric in men’s suits is 120’s merino wool in a bengaline weave, which tends to resist wrinkling and provides a natural stretch for increased comfort. What’s 120’s merino wool? Well, Merino Wool is a specific designation for the wool grown and sheared from Merino sheep. It’s very silky and soft, and the fiber diameter further distinguishes the various grades of Merino Wool.
There are three major classifications: Super 100 (wool fibers slightly thicker than 18 microns), Super 100s (wool fibers less than 18 microns thick), and Super 120’s (wool fibers sheared only from the neck and shoulders of the sheep, under 16 microns thick).
The higher the grade number of the wool, the finer and more luxurious the fabric will be that is created from it and correspondingly, the higher the price for the garment! A suit made of a Super 120’s wool will cost more, however, that same suit will last years instead of months. It is well worth the investment in yourself and your professional appearance.
Popular choices for men’s suit colors include navy and charcoal grey, in a plain or pinstripe pattern, and make for a polished look. This is a terrific suggestion for men whose coloring is cool or blue-based. Winters and Summers are included in this color range. Additional popular colors for cooler-toned men are midnight navy, black, and gray navy.
Men who are warmer in their coloring could choose a bright navy, warm taupe or camel as a basic suit color, remembering that dark navy or black will wash out the coloring on these men and may make them look pale or unhealthy. Not exactly the impression we want to give, now is it?
Classic looks are ensured with a two or three button jacket, and current trends are favoring the 3-button style. More trendy looks have been seen with over 4 buttons on a single-breasted jacket, but these looks are best kept for evening activities and not for a business look.
Double-breasted suits can be problematic if your physique is not suited for them, and the difficulty of sitting in an always-buttoned jacket can cause extra wear and tear on your investment.
Business pants with a double-reverse pleat are a classic that will endure. You should be sure to have them tailored to fit your physique, as pulled-out pleats from an abundant abdomen or rear are sure to make you look even bigger, not business-like. An adept tailor is invaluable to a businessman, and the recommendations of friends and associates will help you find a good one.
Many suit retailers offer tailoring with a purchase, which can be a good way to start. Always test a new or unfamiliar tailor with one suit, so that if he / she doesn’t work to your liking; they haven’t affected your entire wardrobe!
Once you have your 3 or 4 basic suits, you can slowly add other suits to round out your business and entertaining wardrobe. Remember to keep your suit colors classic, and use what you know about your personal coloring (cool or warm) to choose shades and variations that will suit you best.
The best rule of thumb for Menswear: wear what is comfortable for you, remembering that classic tailoring and the right colors for you will best stand the test of time.

If you’ve been following the fashion scene, by now you’ve most likely heard the names Kate and Laura Mulleavy. New to the fashion world and hitting it full force, these two young girls are an inspiration for others. Without formal training but armed with determination, charm, and great ideas you reach your dreams.
Sisters Kate and Laura Mulleavy new Rodarte line is full of nostalgia capturing the feel of the 1930s in America. It was only last year that sisters Kate and Laura decided to launch their own label Rodarte.
They were determined to cut no corners using only the most expensive fabrics.
Rodarte is based on the strong American spirit. Fashion icons such as Carole Lombard were inspirational to their designs. The Rodarte line can be found at Mix in Houston and Kirna Zaberte in New York.
26 year old Kate and 24 year old Laura both graduated from Berkeley. Neither has any formal fashion training, only a passion for the history of the past. Both have always had an interest in designing clothing.
Rodarte is named after their Grandfather a Zacatecan coal miner who immigrated to America during the Mexican Revolution. The family’s linage is very important to both girls. They are also very close to each other which is why they make such a great team.
These inseparable sisters have been in business a very short period of time when they got a break. The Mulleavy sisters introduced their small collection of silk dresses adorned with peacock feathers and Italian-wool evening coats.
Their collections were as aesthetically pleasing as the works of famous designers such as Calvin Klein. They certainly were the most talked about.
Kate and Laura wrote a letter to vintage guru Cameron Silver charming him with their 10 piece Rodarte collection. He invited them to set up shop during L.A. Fashion Week at Decades.
Even without formal training, it is very apparent that this sister act has a sense of style and design as their small Rodarte collection quickly gains momentum.
Their line will soon be found in some of the countries best boutiques. LA’s Satine, Houston’s Mix, Chicago’s Ikram, New York’s Kirna Zabette. They’ve even managed a private showing for Vogue’s Anna Wintour.
The collection ranges from $1300 to $2000 in price. It’s themed around the romantic west, nature, and their personal family linage. Their black wool crepe bodice dress is an all time favorite.
Made from strips of stiff fabric resembling tree trunks, with a delicate flowing skirt. The Earhart coat is a one pocket trench coat, and their military coat is black double faced wool accented with a thin row of pheasant feathers. How much closer to nature can you get?
Their fast growing recognition has people wondering who they know. The reality is they haven’t made their debut because of who they know. They’ve come to be on talent and the goodwill of the fashion industry.
Their current collection is exactly what stylish women want to wear. Their talent is excellent, there genuine about wanting to design and their personalities are drawing.
It will be interesting to see where these girls are in a few years.

Electronic Arts has done it again. The Need For Speed racing series is back with a vengeance, and it is thanks to the huge success with the Underground Series. Need For Speed came to life in 1994 with the title Road & Track Presents: Need For Speed. The original game focused on realism and was more of a driving simulator than an arcade style racing game. It also included high speed police chases which gave the game a lot of popularity. Need For Speed II did not include the police car chases and had a more arcade feel to it.
Each of the first two games had also a special edition. The sequel did not live up to expectations so EA brought back the police chases in Need For Speed III: Hot Pursuit. It was still an arcade racing title but the Hot Pursuit mode had more depth than the first game and made it more fun to play. You even had the opportunity to be the cops. EA followed up their success by releasing Need For Speed: High Stakes/Road Challenge in 1999. Fans had mixed feelings about this installment and complained that the game had too many similarities to Need For Speed: Hot Pursuit. But the game had a couple new innovations. This was the first game of the series with damage models. It also had a career mode where you bought cars and upgraded them as you progressed through racing tournaments.
The next installment of the series was Need For Speed: Porsche Unleashed. Although it was a great success amongst Porsche fans and a great piece of work with the in depth coverage of the history of Porsche, it did not have the variety of the previous games. Need For Speed: Hot Pursuit 2 made its appearance two years later, but was not such a success as the first Hot Pursuit, due to the huge presence of arcade style racing.
EA played their cards right with the release of Need For Speed Underground. The game still had an arcade feel to it and there were no damage models. But did not compromise the game’s success. The introduction of import tuners and car customization made it a hit amongst fans. The game was completely revamped by also introducing a storyline to make it more interesting. The hundreds of different combinations of after-market parts you could install to your car, gave the game more variety and flair.
The soundtrack was excellent and fitted perfectly into the atmosphere of underground racing. This was the first game in the series that did not have exotic cars in its lineup. The career mode introduced in Need For Speed: High Stakes, came to full circle in Underground. Fans still missed a couple of things, namely network play and the high speed police chases. EA rectified the absence of network play in Need For Speed Underground 2. The game had everything the first Underground had plus more. New racing modes was introduced, new ways to customize your car, more after-market parts, as well as the free roaming world. Outrun races brought back the feel of the police chases fans came accustomed too. EA was obviously doing something right.
Need For Speed Most Wanted, the next release in the series, will have all the strong points of previous installments: the high speed, adrenaline rush police car chases that was introduced in the first game, there are rumors that there may be damage models in the game, but it is not certain, the demo may reveal more of this. There will again be a storyline in the game and the feel of the Underground series will still be present, so you will still be able to pimp your ride. Most Wanted also brings back exotic cars, but there will still be import tuners. So you will be able to tune those exotics also.
There will also be quite a number of new racing modes to look forward to. The objective of the game is to become the most notorious racer on the street by evading the police and leave your opponents hanging in the dust. It is clear that EA has listened to the fans throughout the series and implemented suggestions from the gaming community. Need For Speed always impressed in the department of appearance and graphics, and from what I’ve seen from screen shots and preview movies, the game looks stunning.
So Need For Speed certainly evolved into one of the best racing games ever. One wonders what EA will come up with next.

Wi-Fi hotspots are becoming increasingly popular in the UK and are seen as a great tool for businesses to provide more value to their customers, and at the same time increase revenue by bringing in more customers and making them stay longer and be more productive.
The new BT broadband hub package helps businesses let the customers connect to their broadband service free or through BT Openzone vouchers. Until now, the process of getting a wireless internet service installed for public access was quite complex but the new package promises to simplify the process to a great extent.
These hotspots will not only get in new customers, thus being a great marketing tool for many small businesses such as dentists and restaurants, but will also improve the overall customer experience and satisfaction. The free access to customers’ will never be given priority over business traffic; hence, businesses will not face any broadband speed reduction due to the new service and can continue to go about their work as always. Existing BT business customers can avail this new feature by upgrading the firmware of their BT broadband hub.
The package is likely to increase the number of businesses opting to establish a public Wi-Fi hotspot. It is a positive development for both the businesses and their customers in these worrying times.
