The most commonly overlooked question for a great
number of netpreneurs who are looking to start an
online business is whether they are planning to do it
alone or as a team. Whether you are planning to start
or have already began working on your Internet
business, it is wise to step back and evaluate the
different skills that are required to succeed online.
For most people new to an online business, their
Internet dream starts with a great idea, which can be
an original ebook, affiliate program, software, or
online service. Yet, most people fail to realize that
from their ideas, the product or service must be
produced, a web site must be created, a marketing
campaign must be executed, and so on and so forth.
Many people say that the beauty of starting an online
business is that it requires little or no startup cost.
Well, the truth is that if you are planning to start an
online business with little or no money, be prepared to
do A LOT of things yourself.
Also, starting an Internet business rarely costs
nothing. At the very least, you’ll need a computer, an
Internet connection, and a web host if you are planning
to have a web site.
If you are planning to pursue your Internet dream
alone, you will have to be the jack of all trades. That
means that you must be your own web site developer,
product creator, search engine expert, links manager,
ezine publisher, customer service personnel,
accountant, and Internet marketer. For the average
person, assuming most, if not all, of the roles
mentioned above is indeed a daunting task.
On the other hand, you may choose to work on your
Internet business as a team. The advantage of working
with a team is that it lessens each person’s workload
and allows each individual to concentrate more on his
or her assigned task(s). However, be prepared to share
your profits with each other.
If you do not have any friends who are interested or
willing to work with you, then you might consider
hiring others to work for you. You can hire others to
work for you on a one-time basis (such as designing
your web site) or you may choose to employ someone to
do some routine work (such as maintaining and updating
your web site).
Now, if you still think that starting an Internet
business is easy, think again. Despite all the hype
that you might have heard about making great amounts of
money from your own product or affiliate program,
succeeding online does not happen overnight.
However, starting an Internet business does not
necessarily have to be hard. As with any offline
business, an Internet business requires that you take
the time to learn the different aspects of the
business. Would you go to battle in a war if you have
never done any military training?
After all, an Internet business is, as its name
implies, a business. Hence, you must treat your
Internet business seriously if you wish to succeed.
Having an Internet business does not mean that you can
work any less than an offline one. It only allows you
to work flexible hours from the comfort of your home
(and in your underwear, if you wish).
So, if you are thinking of starting an Internet
business, decide today: do you want to be the jack of
all trades? If so, be prepared to open your eyes (and
mind!) to learning new things every day! After all,
isn’t learning supposed to be a lifelong process?
On the other hand, if you don’t want to be the jack of
all trades, be prepared to open up your wallet…
KATCHING!

Surprisingly, there are no “all Premiership” ties for the third
round and has set up more “Championship vs Premiership” matches
than usual. Championship sides awarded a home tie against
Premiership opposition have a good winning record in recent
seasons and here are a few matches where an “upset” could be on
the cards:
WBA vs Reading @ 3.40 Reading top the Championship table and are
unbeaten away from home this season, winning nine and drawing
five so far. Comparatively, the Baggies are hovering just above
the Premiership relegation zone.
Sheff Wed @ 4.00 vs Charlton Alan Curbishley’s side have a
dismal record in the FA Cup against lower opposition, last
season losing to Leicester, 2003/04 losing away at Gillingham
and at home to Walsall in 2001/02. The Owls are finding life in
the Championship tough and will do well to avoid relegation but
a possible cup scalp could provide a welcome distraction.
Norwich @ 2.75 vs West Ham Relegated from the Premiership last
season, Norwich were expected to storm the division and return
to the top flight at the first time of asking. This hasn’t
happened but the Canaries are pressing for a play-off place.
West Ham have had a solid season, sitting comfortably in the top
10 after their promotion in May, but will be without the injured
Danny Gabbidon and may find their FA Cup campaign is a short one.
Ipswich @ 3.20 vs Portsmouth Perrenial promotion contenders
Ipswich Town are finding life hard this season and the new
strike pairing of Sam Parkin and Nick Forster have not been
firing on all cylinders. However, they will be up for the visit
of Harry Redknapp’s Portsmouth who are in dire straits in the
Premiership and have won just twice on the road this season.
Watford @ 3.40 vs Bolton Watford are mounting a surprise
promotion challenge under new manager Adrian Boothroyd while
Bolton are having another remarkable season and are in touching
distance of a Champions League spot. However, the Trotters do
not have the largest of squads and their extended involvement in
the UEFA Cup may sap energy levels even further.
Hull @ 3.60 vs Aston Villa Hull have found the step up to the
Championship difficult following two successive promotions but
are clear of the relegation places. They have been generally
solid at home while opponents Aston Villa have been diabolical
on their travels, winning just twice in the league and
demolishing Wycombe 8-3 in the Carling Cup.
Millwall @ 4.00 vs Everton After finishing 10th in the
Championship the last two seasons and appearing in the final of
the 2003/04 FA Cup, Millwall find themselves rooted to the
bottom of the table. After last season’s heroics, Everton have
themselves under achieved this term and have also flirted with
relegation. Millwall held fellow struggling Birmingham to a 2-2
draw after extra time, losing on penalties, in the Carling Cup
earlier this season and will fancy their chances against the
Toffees.

You have been forced to lay up on a long par four, but due to an
unlucky bounce you have been left with an awkward distance with
a bunker between you and the hole. A pitch shot is the obvious
shot selection however you have one of those in-between
distances and are afraid of either going to far or pitching
the ball into the bunker. Learning the 3 x 3 Matrix can solve
this problem.
The 3 x 3 Matrix assumes that you have at least 3 wedges, like a
pitching wedge, a gap wedge, a sand wedge, or a lob wedge. If
you have all four then you will have the 4 x 3 matrix. The first
number in the matrix represents the total number of wedges you
carry. In our example we will assume that you carry a pitching
wedge, a sand wedge and a lob wedge.
When we learn to play golf many of were taught the pitch shot is
a half swing. So we naturally swing the club to the half way
position in our back swing. Unfortunately, many of are
comfortable using one club for pitching and will only use the
half swing. To take full advantage of the 3 x 3 matrix we need
to learn three swings.
We do not need to learn three different swing techniques but
three different swing lengths when we pitch. The three swing
lengths will produce three distances. Now if remember our
multiplication tables we know that 3 x 3 = 27. Using the 3 x 3
Matrix in pitching will give us 27 options we can use for
pitching the ball with confidence and accuracy.
The first swing. Imagine your arms are the little hand on a
clock. After setting up just swing your arms until they reach
7:30. At this point your wrists have hinged a small amount.
Swing the club forward striking the ball first and brush the
grass after impact and follow through to at least to the 3
o’clock position.
The second swing. This is the swing length we are most familiar
with. Swing your arms to the 9 o’clock position creating an
L-shape with the shaft of the club and your lead arm. Swing the
club forward striking the ball and follow through to a 2 o’clock
finish.
The third swing. The longest swing of the three. Swing your arms
to the 10 o’clock position and swing through to a full
finish.
Use all three swings with all of your wedges. Record the average
distance of each shot and be as precise as possible. The more
you practice these shots using this method the better you will
know your yardages. These are the shots that can really save
strokes.
Once you know your yardages put a label on each of your wedges
as a distance reminder for each of the three swings. E.g. Your
sand wedge 7:30 swing: 25 yards, 9 o’clock swing: 45yards, 10
o’clock swing: 60 yards, have your label as 25-45-60. This is
legal under the rules of golf so take advantage of it.
Now if you have that same shot is may no longer be an awkward
shot, you will know it is a 10 o’clock swing with a lob wedge.
This method will give you 27 options using the same swing
techniques you already know giving you the added confidence you
need but knowing that you have the right club. Use the 3 x 3
Matrix and boost your confidence and lower your score.

The most important first lesson about having the best possible bridal shower is careful party planning. If your bridal shower is carefully planned, it will be not only more organized but a world of fun. Paying attention to details is what makes a great bridal shower. If you treat your bridal shower just like any other project, you have a good chance of making it a success. Proper planning is the most important first step to take toward a great bridal shower.
The following list can serve as a simple outline for your overall bridal shower planning. Follow the outline to help plan the bridal shower. Be sure to check or underline each completed task, so you can concentrate on the incomplete items. It is also helpful to use actual dates to meet your deadlines.
First steps
The most important first step is to select the appropriate date and time. Be sure to check with the most important participants, and make sure the date works for everyone.
Set your budget
Select the place (A favorite restaurant is a great location, but a friends house works on a limited budget.)
Prepare your guest list
Five to six weeks prior the bridal shower
Select method of invitations (You can save money by sending e-invitations.)
Make a decision about the shower theme
One month prior to the bridal shower date
Send out the shower invitations
Decide on food (Select caterer or restaurant if you wish to use one)
Research bridal shower keepsake favors
Two weeks before the bridal shower
Based on RSVPs from the invited bridal shower guests make final arrangements regarding food and other planned activities
Last minute preparations
Contact caterer or restaurant (if you use one) to make sure they are ready for the shower party
Put together any accessories you plan to use for the bridal shower
Wrap gifts
Make sure a video recorder and cameras are available to record the bridal shower

It was a warm, sunny October afternoon one day when I was a kid,
and as I walked up the hill of our driveway after getting off
the school bus at our Wisconsin dairy farm, I wondered how many
more nice days we would have before winter came.
I was still wondering about winter when I entered the kitchen a
few minutes later.
“What did you learn in school today?” asked my mother, who was
in the middle of peeling potatoes for supper.
Every day Mom asked what I had learned in school, although most
of the time I didn’t know how to answer because it didn’t seem
like we had really learned anything.
Today, though, I had something to tell her.
“We learned about Indian Summer,” I said.
My mother paused and looked over at me. “It’s not Indian Summer
today.”
I frowned. “It’s not?”
Mom shook her head.
“But our teacher said so.”
“That’s what the weatherman said on television this morning,
too. But it’s not Indian Summer,” she replied.
“How come?” I asked. “Our teacher told us that it’s Indian
Summer when we get a warm, sunny day after it freezes.”
My mother shrugged. “Seems like just another nice fall day to
me,” she said.
“Then what makes it Indian Summer?”
Mom paused to select another potato.
“We have to get snow first before it’s Indian Summer,” she
explained.
“Snow?”
Even though it was already October, I didn’t figure it would
snow for a long time yet.
“Does it have to snow a lot?” I asked.
“No. Just a little bit. Then after it melts, and if we have some
nice, warm, sunny days, then THAT’s Indian Summer,” Mom said.
“How come?”
My mother sighed. “Well, I don’t know why, exactly. Except if
it’s a warm fall day, how is that any different than any other
warm fall day?”
I thought about what she’d said for a few moments.
“But if we think it’s going to be winter, like when it snows,”
she continued, “and then it turns warm and sunny again, then we
think it’s more like summer.”
Her explanation made quite a bit of sense, but still, if my
teacher AND the weatherman said it was Indian Summer…
“Did you just make that up?” I asked. “About it not being Indian
Summer until after it snows?”
“No,” my mother said, “I did not just make it up. That’s what MY
mother and father always said.”
My mother’s parents, Nils and Inga, were immigrants from Norway
who had died long before I was born.
“Does Norway have Indian Summer, too?” I asked.
My mother shook her head.
“Why not?”
“No Indians,” she replied.
We had learned in school that Native Americans were the first
people who lived here. And if they were American, then of course
they wouldn’t live in Norway, too.
“Did Grandma Inga and Grandpa Nils know any Indians?” I asked.
“No,” Mom said, “although there were still a few in this part of
Wisconsin when my grandpa first came to live here. Or so I’ve
heard.”
“Did they call it Indian Summer?” I asked.
“Who?” Mom inquired.
“The Indians who were here when your grandpa was around,” I said.
My mother shook her head as she finished peeling the last
potato. “I wouldn’t have the foggiest notion,” she replied.
Later that fall, it snowed a little bit. After the snow melted
and the weather turned warm again for a while, I could see what
Mom meant about how if it snows, we think it’s going to be
winter, but then if the weather turns nice again, it seems more
like summer.
Nowadays I often hear weather forecasters proclaiming that a
sunny, warm, fall day is Indian Summer.
I know better, though.
If my grandparents and my mother believed that snow was a
prerequisite for Indian Summer, well that’s good enough for me.

You might be wondering how to go about getting tickets to “The
Greatest Show on Earth.” Now that Mike Tice is out of a job in
Minnesota the ex ticket hawker might be looking to sell his
again. But the bottom line is, tickets are available if you are
willing to spend the money.
Numerous ticket brokers have a good number of Super Bowl tickets
available to purchase, with most of them starting at over $2200
for the worst seats in the house. If you’re looking for some
place extravagant to throw your Super Bowl party, try the luxury
suite on the 40 yard line for nearly a quarter of a million
dollars. It does hold 40 people and comes fully catered, if that
makes it worth it to you.
There is a little known method of attaining Super Bowl tickets
that isn’t full proof but is worth a shot to get the tickets at
face value. Every year preceding the Super Bowl from February
1st to June 1st, you can write a letter to the NFL requesting
Super Bowl tickets. Your name will be put in a hat and a random
drawing will ensue. If you are selected you will have the
opportunity to buy 2 tickets.
There is a slight misconception that you should act on getting
Super Bowl tickets as much time in advance as possible. This is
almost impossible to accomplish. The truth is, in the past,
sometimes Super Bowl tickets haven’t even been released until a
week before the game and if you are looking to go through a
ticket broker, many of them won’t promise Super Bowl ticket
availability until the very day of the game and you will be
expected to pay the current market value.
Going through a ticket broker is your best bet on getting Super
Bowl tickets, but make sure that the broker you are associating
with is credible (a member of the National Association of Ticket
Brokers) as there are a few Super Bowl ticket scams out there.
One such scam was for purchasing a Super Bowl tour package at a
discount price. It included airline tickets, hotel
accommodations, everything except Super Bowl tickets.

There is much to learn about motorcycle spark plugs. There is
more than what meets the rider’s eyes.
First things first. Let us distinguish the important differences
in spark plugs threaded ends. They come in four diameters and
lengths. They come in nominal 14, 10 12 and 18 millimeters
diameters. Before there was a slight difference in thread
configuration especially in different countries however, this
was made uniform by the international standardization of the
thread forms. These new dimensions are now being followed by
motorcycle parts manufacturers.
Errors. People often make plug-reach errors. The very usual
error is using 3/4-inch plugs in 1/2 -inch holes. The result of
the same is pretty obnoxious. In time, when the plug threads are
exposed in combustion, they become filled with deposits. In that
case, it will be hard to remove the plug without removing the
hole threads. On the contrary, if you use a short plug to a deep
hole, the deposit will fill the hole and it will be hard to
re-install the right size plug. The worst error is the use of
overly-long plug. The exposed threads absorb huge amount of heat
from the combustion process which alleviates the plug-nose
temperatures. As a consequence, the side electrode functions as
a glow plug. Early ignition or runaway pre-ignition causes
higher combustion chamber temperatures that can wreck the engine.
Heat range. Hot plugs are plugs with a long insular nose. They
lead heat high into the plug body before it returns to the
cylinder head. Short-nosed plugs, on the other hand, have
shorter heat path. Consulting the spark plug manufacturers
regarding the plug’s heat range can be of great help. This may
somehow clear the cobwebs at the back of your mind regarding
heat range demands. Knowing which plugs are colder or hotter may
be easy if you stick to the same brand however, it becomes
perplexing when you change from one brand to another.
There is more to spark plugs than the three aforementioned
aspects. There are still areas that we need to master like its
installations, different plug configurations and maintenance
work. Nonetheless, we have to be first acquainted with these
three aspects.
In a nutshell, we have to have enough knowledge about spark
plugs in order to choose the right or suitable type. Another, we
have to delve deeper to what it has to do about the bike
engine’s condition. These factors are hard to acquire and do,
thus, we have to instill a lot of details and facts all at once.
When you get it right, you will be favorably affected.

The bridal shower is the prewedding party organized by the bridesmaids or close female friends. Its purpose is to shower the bride with good wishes. Obviously, the bride is the center of attention at the bridal shower. Although it should not matter who is hosting organizing the event, traditionally, family was discouraged from hosting bridal showers, because it may look like they are digging for gifts.
There is no rule on who is to host the shower. The bridesmaids, friends, or family usually hosts it. The place of the party is usually someone’s house, but bridal showers can be held at restaurants. One of the most important aspect of planning a successful bridal shower is to only invite guest who will be invited to the wedding too. Anyone invited to the shower would have every right to be expecting an invitation to the wedding. To avoid embarrassing mistakes, always consult the bride and key decision makers about the guest list.
The bridal shower, just like your wedding, should be on a day that is easy to attend. Therefore, Saturday is probably the best day to have the party. It enables your guests to attend. The bridal shower should be close to the wedding day but not less than a couple of weeks before.
Bridal shower favors are an important part of the event. Some of the most popular bridal shower favors are personalized chocolates, or personalized bath gels. If you have a beach theme bridal shower, your favors can compliment it. For example, dolphin wine stoppers, or seashell candles are very popular beach bridal shower favor ideas.
Written invitations are not mandatory. Most people have an e-mail address, so einvitations may be the most cost effective option.
If the party is at someone’s home, usually finger food is served. Pizza is another popular choice of food. Bridal showers are informal event, and you don’t need to make a big fuss about the food.
